If you haven't already noticed, we had changed our site's logo this week to promote Mario Marathon 5 and Child's Play Charity! Donations go towards getting children in hospitals around the world, toys and games to play with while they get through some tough times. You can also donate in our name as part of our community on our Mario Marathon page.
Mario Marathon 5 has already raised over $80,000 at the time of this writing and continues on MarioMarathon.com!
Guild Wars 2 Marathons
As you know from our previous coverage of Guild Wars 2 beta weekend events and especially our coverage of events at game conventions - GuildWars2Live.com is very familar with marathons.
We would like to ask if you, our viewers, would be interested in supporting and donating to Child's Play during a Guild Wars 2 marathon (when Guild Wars 2 is released). We chatted with Jamie, Project Manager at Child's Play, during MM5 about possibility of organizing this. The marathon will be online only, involving staff taking shifts, and potentially involve some prizes.
