Get ready says ArenaNet, the release date has been officially announced for August 28, 2012! Remember that if you pre-purchased the game, then you also get a 3 day head start access!
The announcement trailer makes us cringe a bit because it reminds us of the Matrix, but it's okay guys, the date is all that matters! Tell your boss your're going on vacation at the end of August!

In addition to the release date, the final beta weekend event is planned for July 20-22.
