We’ve been waiting 6 years for this game. We’ve rode the hype train full speed for 4 years. We played the demo and couldn’t wait another 2 years. A few lucky ones of us participated in a closed beta. Then we all jumped on for the beta weekends and stress tests. Finally, Tyria is ready. It’s time to give yourself a name, represent a guild and then - stop.

We’ve waited 6 years for Guild Wars 2 to be ready. Congratulations everyone! Now it’s our turn. The next waypoint, heart, skill point, vista, personal story, and harvest - for the first time in 6 years - can wait for you. Admire the horizon, speak with the locals, and dance in Lion's Arch.
