Promote Yourself On BWE3

July 20-22 is the last Guild Wars 2 beta weekend event before the release date on August 28. It is also the last chance to be a part of our 60 hour live stream, allowing 3rd parties to promote themselves. Now is the time to apply for a spot on our schedule for Beta Weekend 3.

For every Guild Wars 2 BWE that has happened, we have filled our schedule with streaming from start to end, and then some. We also hold a sweepstakes event that gets people watching, which helps to promote not only us but also yourself. The ability to hold sweepstakes is thanks to our supportive viewers, regulars and the hundreds who come to watch every beta weekend. Apply now as a guild or fan site and show the community why you're a cool group of people to hang out with!

How To Apply

For the upcoming beta weekend event we plan on streaming to our Twitch channel. You must be familiar with streaming, be hardware / software ready, and put on your casting voice! For beginners, streamers require XSplit (a licence is recommended) and co-hosts require a second monitor to interact with chat during the show.

To apply for a spot on our schedule please write an email to peter@guildwars2live.com and make sure you have these bases covered:

- Your email subject MUST BE "BWE3 Application - <your guild/site same here>"
- Tell us about your guild / fan site
- What Guild Wars 2 content do you hope to cover
- Link us to videos of your own saved live streams
- List the voices (host and co-hosts) that will be on your stream
- Between July 20 PDT noon to July 22, give us a time frame for when you'd like to stream
- You're most likely to get a spot if you provide flexible times
- At least one of the co-hosts must be able to use TeamSpeak 3

The last day to apply is Tuesday July 17, 2012. Please apply as soon as possible to get an optimal time slot on our schedule, address concerns and prepare ahead of time. We will send all accepted parties a guideline to streaming with us, how to cooperate on our sweepstakes and address issues of copyright. Early accepted applications will also get a mention before July 17th on our front page news.

After Guild Wars 2 Release

This of course isn't the last chance for 3rd parties to stream with us. After Guild Wars 2's release we would like to invite friends to stream weekly with us on special hours. There will be designated times throughout the week where people can tune in to learn about your guild or fan site. As long as the viewers continue to support us, we'll continue giving back to the community with monthly sweepstakes. That means more novels, plushies, shirts and gaming gear!
