Pre-Early Access To Guild Wars 2

It's the final countdown says ArenaNet. The same client the public has used to access Guild Wars 2 beta weekends and stress tests will no doubt also be the same client for the game upon it's official release date. If you want to grab up single worded names when the servers open their doors on August 25th, you might not have to wait until midnight.

If your pre-purchased Guild Wars 2, the three-day headstart access officially begins at 0:00 AM Pacific time (or 3 AM EDT) on August 25th. However, servers may open up to 3 hours prior to that "fateful hour" to ensure that people checking in on the hour have a smooth entry into the game. We think this suggests there may be some bumps and bruises at the start - as commonly expected with major MMORPG openings. Guild Wars fans committed to getting in first to grab character names will have to keep a very close watch as soon as 9 PM PDT (12 AM EDT).

Additionally ArenaNet would like to remind the community that pre-orders of Guild Wars 2 get a 1-day head start. Those purchasing the game without pre-order or pre-purchase officially begin on August 28th.
