Yeah, it is good that there is concern there is only revealing armor, I wouldn't like that either.
But I'm not sure where this concern is based upon as there have been so many images floating about that showed there's actually a great deal of armors that are actually fully covered. Even the guru thread is full of images showing this. Like here: linky. And this picture

Though for some you probably could say those features are still accentuated. Though I find the male armor quite dull in comparison for that matter.
In the end it pretty much matters all on your opinion, and there are more emotional arguments rather than actually looking at the facts. If the matter is dear to you, you cannot let it get to you, for you won't be able to make a clear judgement.

As for Male skimpy armor. :p
I think there are quite a few good examples throughout movies and such where gladiator like armor seems pretty abundant. The charr armor is actually a good example of this. Imagine all the fur to be skin. I think you would have an ancient greek /roman type of armor which in fact is quite... naked, yet not too revealing. (Though imo still dull :p)

Also did you know, charr armor is the same for both genders.... means at least 1/5th of the armor is 100% equal. :p

I think the red armor is just a little over the edge for me, but I don't really care that much about it. Like Kaae said, it wont affect how I play the game itself and I'm sure there will be more not-so-revealing armor sets aswell, though as I said I don't really mind it that much, but I would personally like less revealing armor. (Didn't see Frizz's last post, I personally really like that armor alot more than the armorsets OP posted)

Also i remembered that Kristen Perry held a pannel at PAX 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbYAJ_oK1-E
(at 8:45 theres a question that I'd like you to hear, http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... 1-E#t=525s)

I believe that she says in several ocasions that there sould be something that fits everyone's tastes, if you want to be sexy/unovered/unprotected go for it if you want to be fullly covered/protected there will be stuff for that too. She also says that women do alot of the designs lol so no to blaming men on this one lol.

IMO, women would wear thinks that revealed more clothing if they looked anything like a female norn. I know if I looked like a male norn I would walk around shirtless half my life! lol. The game looks great, the armor is just fine. that's my two cents.

I would have to vomit half the time I looked in your direction then.

Seriously though, some of the female outfits are way too outlandish for my tastes. That mesmer and elementalist look pretty ridiculous if I'm being perfectly honest. Certainly doesn't look like something you would go out to slay monsters in. Overall the designs are pretty neat though and it's a video game, I won't complain.
