[rp] My Mains Story before Launch

Postby KynanTheGreat » Tue Apr 17, 2012 12:12 pm

The skills i will follow http://www.gw2tools.com/skills#w;ffpka; ... deYa;YfSjY or this http://gw2.luna-atra.fr/skills_tool/?la ... 2f2g2h2o32

My Name _____ __ _______ (name revealed after launch)

Born into a family who had came from nothing after the destruction of ascalon to become nobles of kryta after my Great great great great great great great great great great grandfather, He was called Kynan and since i was a child my mother and father told me of his storys of fighting along side other heroes against things called Titans, a Group called the White Mantle and the Mursatt, Reawakened Warrior called Shiro in a land now blocked off by a Elder Dragon lying in the Crystal Desert, He also slayed a God called Abaddon and saw the ascension of the goddess of truth, But other than Battles i was told of story's of friendship and love, He met a dragon called Glint the story's say, He helped in setting up Keiran Thackery and Gwen, As well as the battle of lions arch where Queen Salma became Queen of Kryta. I have always want to follow the legacy of him and i hope to live up to my family name, my family has followed the values he passed down to allow choice to the family stand for yourself make your own decisions, and the family should support you even if your decisions end up going wrong.

I am now approaching 18 now my father has brought me into more of his dutys to help with the local farmers and poor we give money to them so they can survive we want the people to respect us as we also respect them. My mother is looking after my young brother. But the Manor has felt empty after my Sister died on duty as a member of the seraph its a mystery what happened to her body but i promise i will one day find out what happened to her body.

My father also had me learn to fight with a sword and shield as well as a longbow, he follows a quote from my great............ grandfather Kynan "always be prepared" with this centaur unrest all around divinity's reach.

When i learn to fight i pray that when i have to use these skills in battle that the goddess dwayna that i am born under will protect me in battle as i protect the others around me, I shall help other species and towns by making weapons and armour for them so they can fight to protect themselves and there familys.

Ive told my father i wish to go out into the wilderness and fight and protect the people maybe i can help push back the centaur forces. My father has given me some heirlooms of the family mostly from my great......... grandfather Kynan, one is a Fiery dragon sword he wielded himself as well as a Ithas Longbow he had collected in his lifetime, Thirdly i have been given a diamond aegis born to be solid and to protect, my father had me forged some heavenly bracers of the goddess dwayna so i can carry her protection around with me. The old blacksmith that teached me his craft made me some armour to protect me from the wilds, I bring my companion Pyre my orange tabby cat. I hope i can live up to my family's legacy and make it even stronger.

Today is the day I go to protect my people i need to protect. May Dwayna Protect. And i wonder if ill ever meet Logan Thackery are familys where once very close by over time are familys have lost contact.

You don't mind if I write something about my character on this thread, right? I'll assume you won't.

"You're a fool, Straut", grunted a tall charr with a scar covering his right eye.
A smaller charr, black and white in color, let out a slight laugh.
"A fool? Yes, I'll be a fool, if that's what it takes to help the Legion. But who's the greater fool, he who dies on the field of battle and achieves nothing, or he who lives to tell of the defeat?" The larger charr shook his head.
"I swear, all of you Ash legionnaires have less charr in you than an asura collecting herbs! And I hear your sire was one of those cursed Flame Legion shamans, too...". He would have gone on, if it weren't for the pistol that he suddenly found pointing at his chin.
"I won't hear that from a low ranked meat like you! My Sire is not me, and my use of magic doesn't make me a shaman! Now scram before I check what's inside that thick head of yours by means other than magic!"

As the armored one hurried away, Straut looked up to the smoke-filled skies of Black Citadel. For what reason he was deployed there with his warband, he didn't know, but he wasn't about to question Tribune Desertgraves orders. Secrecy was the way things were handled in the Ash Legion, and Straut was more than happy to comply. And Torga Desertgrave was likely the only tribune who'd approve of his use of mesmeric magic. Usually, even in the thick of fighting, members of other warbands looked at him with distrust in their eyes. Be that because he uses magic, or because he's a part of the Ash Legion, it didn't matter. He had his own honor, which he'd never let be stained. Many would argue on his sense of honor being twisted, but it'd be of little meaning.

He was interrupted by the noise from market stalls. Straut regretted for a moment spending a good bit of the money he had with him on fancy clothes, but dismissed the feeling quickly. Weapons he could ask around the legion for, but surprisingly few cared about quality clothes. He walked to the gates to get some fresh air. The threat of ghost attacks was evident as he spotted riflemen stationed around the gates. None of his business, he thought, not until otherwise ordered. Incidentally, that was the moment when he was called to action. Waves of ghosts had been spotted advancing towards the gates, and his warband had been ordered to reinforce the barrier. The day had started badly, and wasn't going to improve.

The battlefield was in a state of chaos. Soldiers were shouting, some orders, some from wounds inflicted by eerie ghostly ascalonians. It was Strauts first time in an actual full combat situation, though he'd never admit that. Of course, he had been training his whole life as any charr, and had done some missions for his legion, but nothing as dangerous as this. He dodged a glowing blade aimed at his head, and plunged his own sword into his foe. As the blade cut through the ghost, it made a disturbing sound. Straut had no time to feel sorry for the once proud human, even if he had felt that way, as a dozen more were overwhelming the defenses. One by one, the defenders felled the ghosts, their ethereal bodies dissipating to the air. The first wave had been defeated, but more would come unless the nearby crypt were to be ridden of it's undead inhabitant, Duke Barradin, a general in the ghostly army. Straut was about to get moving with the warband, but was halted when he heard a familiar voice.

"You're a fool, Straut". Straut turned back and saw the large warrior from earlier, lying in a pool of blood. It was clear that was beyond help, his arm ripped asunder and lung punctured. Still, he had the power to talk.
"I am a fool, yes. I'm also walking out here to continue the fight for the Citadel"
"You... keep on fighting them", the warrior grunted as his life left his body. Straut crouched before him, picked up the sword the other charr had dropped, and placed it into the arm left intact. You died fighting, Straut thought. You deserve to keep holding that sword. Then, without looking backwards, he made towards the crypt where Duke Barradin resided.

I take pride in my writing. Also, my legs, but that's irrelevant.
