Norn Warrior or Human Ranger will be one of my first, don't know which yet.
Then I'll be trying out pretty much all professions I think :D

First I wanted to play a Human female Necromancer, then I wanted to play an Asuran male Necromancer, but now that I've seen the Sylvari Necromancer, I'll definitely choose for that (female of course ^^). Then, I would like to play a Human female Ranger, gonna play a shortbow most of the time. An Asuran male Guardian. Also a Charr male Warrior and Engineer, I just think that these 2 proffessions fit the Charr the best. And maybe a Norn male Thief.
Wondering what the last profession might be :o !!!
Does anyone know how many characters you can choose, in GW 1 you chould have 8 different characters.

For the initial release I'm certain they will provide lesser character slots than the number of professions you can choose from.

I'd think so too.

We asked about this at GamesCom, I believe they mentioned either 6 or 8. Wasn't a final decision though, so don't stick to it :P

6 would make more sense from a money-making perspective, people would have to buy slots to have a character of each profession.

Yeah, they did the same in GW1. In GW1, there were 10 different professions with only 8 character slots. You could buy 2 extra character slots for about $10.

I saw at: http://www.youtube.com/user/TotalHalibu ... Q7JgKavJ5I (12:50) that you can actually have 13 characters.
Bottom of the screen, it says 4 out of 13 characters used.

I want to play an elementalist, or a thief, or perhaps a guardian. Probably all of them. I have a good feeling about the last profession too. In fact the only class I'm not keen on playing is the Ranger. Asura, Charr, and Human are all good choices for me. So I'm still very much undecided for my main.

Huh. That's a really odd number isn't it? I'm sure that it just has something to do with their demo build, and we'll have less available to us once the game is out. The character select screen was unfinished too as you could see.

I would honestly be satisfied with just 4 to start out with.

Lol, look at my post xD
But it's OK. And yeah, I also don't think that they're gonna implement 13 character slots, but still... why would they do that on their demo? Because they only use 4 of them.
